Our signature service
CABINET FINISHING, SPRAYED — NEVER BRUSHED.
Every cabinet we finish is sprayed with pressure sprayers using lacquer-based paint in a controlled air environment. That combination is what produces a finish that looks factory-new — smooth, even, and durable enough to stand up to daily use.
- Sprayed, never brushed. No brush marks, no streaks — a uniformly smooth surface that catches light evenly.
- Lacquer-based paint. Cures harder and adheres better than latex — it won't peel or chip at the edges the way brushed paint does.
- Controlled air environment. Dust and airborne particles are managed so the finish goes on clean — no debris trapped under the surface.
- Kitchens, baths, wood paneling, tongue and groove. Any wood surface in your home gets the same level of care.
Why the finish holds up
THE FINISH LOOKS FLAWLESS BECAUSE OF WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE THE PAINT.
Most people only see the final coat. We spend more time on prep than on paint — because that's what separates a finish that lasts from one that doesn't.
- Good primer. The right primer bonds to the surface and gives the finish coat something to hold onto. Skip it and the paint fails early.
- Proper sanding. Every surface is sanded to the right profile so the paint adheres evenly — no glossy spots where the finish peels back.
- Wood filler on every imperfection. Nail holes, dents, gaps — filled and sanded flush before any finish goes on.
- Every piece of wood checked. We inspect before the finish goes on. If something isn't right, we fix it — not paint over it.

Who we work with
HOMEOWNERS AND BUILDERS WHO EXPECT THE WORK TO BE SEEN.
Homeowners
We work in established communities across Western North Carolina — The Cliffs, The Ramble, Biltmore Forest, and the neighborhoods around Asheville and Hendersonville. These are homes where the finish has to hold up to close inspection, and it does.
Builders & Property Managers
Builders bring us in when a house is going to be seen. We're also regularly called to correct other contractors' work — when a finish didn't hold up or the prep was skipped. We fix it, and we do it right.
Meet the owner
LUPE GOMEZ
Lupe Gomez started painting in 2004, working for another contractor before the 2008 recession pushed him out on his own. He tried a partnership for a couple of years, and in 2012 launched Superior Painting as his own business. By 2015 he had a crew and enough steady work to become a corporation.
Since then the business has grown one skill at a time. Drywall came first. Then cleaning, after enough clients asked who cleaned their homes that Lupe realized his crew could handle it. In 2023 he added epoxy floor coatings, sending his team through training and buying the equipment himself.
Lupe checks in with every crew personally. He holds regular meetings with clients, builders, and managers on longer projects, walks job sites himself, and trains his own leads until they're ready.
"I always wanted to be the best at everything we do, and that's pushed me a lot."
